Aegis Expands into Cabinetry: A New Addition to Our Multifamily Product Line

At Aegis Building Supplies, our product offering has continued to grow alongside the projects we serve.

This year, we expanded into cabinetry, adding a new product category to our existing selection of countertops, flooring, sinks, tile, mosaic, and other interior building materials.

The decision was a practical one. On multifamily projects, cabinets rarely stand alone. They need to coordinate with countertops, sinks, flooring, appliances, and the overall unit design. Adding cabinetry allows our team to support more of that process under one roof.

Why Cabinetry?

Cabinetry is one of the most visible—and most frequently used—elements in an apartment.

For multifamily developers and contractors, however, selecting cabinets involves more than choosing a door style or finish. Cost, durability, hardware, installation, replacement, and consistency across hundreds of units all matter.

That is where we saw an opportunity to expand what Aegis could offer.

Rather than treating cabinets as an isolated product, our goal is to coordinate them with the other materials already going into the project—from quartz countertops and stainless-steel sinks to flooring and backsplash tile. These are already core categories within Aegis’ multifamily offering. For multifamily apartments, hospitality projects, and residential remodels, porcelain delivers performance that lasts for years.

Designed with Multifamily Projects in Mind

Working on multifamily projects means thinking beyond a single kitchen.

A cabinet package may need to work across multiple unit types, layouts and floors while maintaining a consistent appearance from the first unit to the last. Dimensions need to coordinate with appliances and countertops. Hardware needs to perform reliably. Packaging and labeling need to make sense when hundreds—or thousands—of cabinet boxes arrive on site.

These details may not be the first things residents notice, but they can make a significant difference during construction.

That is why our cabinetry program is being developed around the way multifamily projects are actually built.

It’s What’s Behind the Door, Too

A cabinet is more than the box and door you see from the outside.

Hardware and everyday functionality matter just as much. Our cabinet packages can incorporate details such as soft-close hinges, full-extension drawer slides, adjustable cabinet feet, shelving and cabinet accessories.

These components may be small, but across a large apartment project, they have a direct impact on how cabinets feel, function and hold up to daily use.

One Project, More Materials from One Source

Adding cabinets also gives our customers more opportunities to coordinate interior finishes through a single supplier.

For example, a typical apartment kitchen package may include:

Cabinetry + Quartz Countertops + Stainless-Steel Sink + Backsplash Tile + LVT Flooring

Instead of looking at each material independently, these finishes can be considered together—from color and style to quantities, scheduling and installation.

Aegis already supplies quartz countertops, stainless-steel sinks, LVT, wall and floor tile, subway tile and mosaic for residential and commercial projects, with a particular focus on multifamily developments.

From Material Supplier to Project Partner

The addition of cabinetry is a natural next step for Aegis.

As our product range grows, our focus remains the same: helping developers, contractors and project teams source dependable materials at a competitive price while making the building process easier.

Cabinetry gives us another way to do that.

And we’re just getting started.
